Founded in 1994, C.O Designs has established itself as a manufacturer in the furniture business that differentiates itself with quality and innovation. Engineering the Evolution of Workspaces.
Our story
C.O Designs, founded in 1994 by Raymond Ellerbeck and Sakkie Meyer in Somerset West, began by creating home office furniture as PCs became household staples. Their innovative product, The Box Office, was quickly licensed to Macro in 1995. Rapid growth necessitated moves to larger factories in 1996 and 2001, transitioning from home offices to corporate furniture and university clients.
Key figures like Peter Pillon and Graham Radford joined as shareholders, driving expansion and international projects like furnishing Sanlam Investments' London office. Despite setbacks, including Pillon's passing in 2006, the company flourished, opening a Johannesburg office in 2013 and welcoming Debbie Radford as Director.
Today, C.O Designs is a leading name in corporate office furniture.

To make a positive contribution to the high levels of unemployment in South Africa by assisting our clients to grow sustainably, becoming more successful & increasing their profitability by enhancing levels of productivity.
